Waynetown March 26 - Elfie May Darnell, died at her home in Waynetown Wednesday night at 7:30 o'clock after an illness of 16 months. Complicatoins caused her death. The deceased was born near Hillsboro on Dec 18, 1878 the daughter of Dvid and Pernelia Pearson Parker. She was married to Fred Darnell on January 28, 1913. She was a member of the Baptist Church at Waynetown and the Order of Eastern Star and Daughters of Union Veterans. She had lived in Waynetown since she was seven years of age. Surviving are the hubsand, one son, David Wallace, one sister Miss Pearl Parker and one brother, OW Parker of Crawfordsville. Funeral services will be held on Sunday afternoon at one thirty o'clock at the home, Rev. Chetis Brown of the Baptist Church in charge.
